On Sept. 24, the Carnival F.U.N. Team participated in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer in Miami at Tamiami Park. The fundraiser ensures that no child at St. Jude ever sees a bill, and the Carnival F.U.N. team was Top 3 overall for team funds raised!
In May the F.U.N. Team participate in Walk For Wishes walk at Zoo Miami benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.
Walkers were out in full force at the 2015 Walk for Wishes 5k walk/run to benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. Carnival F.U.N. Team volunteers got in on the walk and the helped out at the F.U.N. Team table.
Carnival F.U.N. Team members participated in the Greater Miami Humane Society’s annual Walk for the Animals event at Bayfront Park. Approximately 3,000 animal lovers joined in for the one-mile stroll around the park and then enjoyed a morning full of music, food, activities, games and fun.
On Saturday, November 22, supporters in more than 65 communities across the country — including several Carnival F.U.N. Team members — participated in the St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk. This family-friendly event helps raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The annual Heart Walk in Miami was a huge success, with Carnival F.U.N. Team members once again coming out to support the American Heart Association.
Carnival F.U.N. Team members join the March of Dimes’ Walk for Babies to help promote the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Carnival F.U.N. Team members came out to support breast cancer at the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
