Miami-Dade County Mayor Levine Cava Visits Carnival

For January’s Carnival Scholarship & Mentoring Program visit, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava was the special guest speaker. Mayor Levine Cava is the first woman mayor of Miami-Dade County. She spoke to the kids about her career path and how she didn’t go into politics until much later in life. Her passion for helping kids and families led her to seek change in Miami-Dade, and she let the kids know that failure is a part of life and it’s ok to fail as long as you use it as a learning experience.
